# Burn Schedule

As per stated on [CHOKE Token](/abstract/token-metrics/choke-token.md), the **CHOKE** token will have a yearly burning schedule. Weekly Burn Schedule: Tokens will be burnt  on a weekly basis at a decreasing monthly fixed percentage (Deflationary Percentage Burn):

* May - 2.25% &#x20;
* June - 1.75% &#x20;
* July - 1.5% &#x20;
* August - 1.25% &#x20;
* September - 1% &#x20;
* October - 0.75% &#x20;
* November - 0.5% &#x20;
* December - 0.25% &#x20;
* For a total of 9.25% this year
